1625 is a service for young people, aged 16-25, living in social housing in Bristol and the surrounding area.

Age UK Bristol offer a comprehensive Information & Advice service for anyone over 55 who lives or works in Bristol. We can also offer advice to family members or carers who are supporting older individuals who are over 55.

Part of Bristol City Council, the Welfare Rights and Money Advice Servce (WRAMAS) provides benefits and money advice, consultancy, information and training, to a range of clients, services and organisations throughout Bristol.

Bristol Law Centre provides free specialist social welfare legal advice and representation to people who could not otherwise afford access to justice.

We provide welfare rights advice in Lawrence Weston and Henbury to people with disabilities, elderly/old people and children/young people.

North Bristol Advice Centre provides free and independent advice and support in North Bristol & South Gloucestershire. 

Shelter Bristol offers free, expert housing advice to anyone – no matter what their situation.

Shire Advice Service is operated by Avon (University Settlement) Community Association, a registered charity. It offers a wide range of advice, information and advocacy covering welfare benefits, debt and housing.

South Bristol Advice Services (SBAS), is an independent charity helping local residents with advice and information on Welfare Benefits and Debt.

St Pauls Advice Centre (SPAC) offers specialist level advice around Debt and Welfare Benefits issues including income, health and housing Benefits, as well as representation for Social Security Tribunal hearings.

Our 750 volunteers provide a free service across England and Wales, offering support and guidance before, during, and after court. 

We provide free, independent, specialist debt advice to individuals and their families. This includes energy debt and efficiency advice, benefits and income maximisation advice. 

The guidance provided by ACFA affiliate member, University of Bristol Accommodation Office, can help students with all issues related to choosing and living in privately rented accommodation.
