Allen Lane Foundation
Apply for £15,000 one off grant (lasting 3 years) to provide advice, advocacy, conflict resolution, mentoring support or drop-ins to strengthen people’s rights before policy-makers. The Foundation aims to make a lasting difference to people's lives (not just alleviate symptoms), reduce isolation & stigma, and enable vulnerable communities to share in community life. These awards reward charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health. Organisations must be at least three years old, working in a health-related field in the UK, with income between £25,000 and £2 million. Up to 20 awards will be made ranging from £3,000 to £40,000 plus free training and development valued at up to £6,000. Organisations will also have a film made, receive help with press and publicity and be given a set of promotional materials. Applications are open for the 2017 awards and the closing date is 21 September 2016. More information on the grant and how to apply can be found here.

Charles Hayward Foundation
Focuses on social and criminal justice and offers grants to two main groups: charities with income over £350,000 p.a. and those with less than that. They are particularly interested in funding holistic projects helping vulnerable families, young people at risk (especially girls and young women), and victims of DV and exploitation. Applications are considered quarterly.
