WECIL (West of England Centre for Inclusive Living)

WECIL is a user-led organisation run by and for disabled people in Bristol offering a disability information and advice service in Bristol and surrounding areas. WECIL's innovative services aim to empower disabled people and enable them to live independently and participate to whatever level they choose in the community as valued and equal citizens.

The Social Model of Disability underpins everything they do, and to this end, all their work is about designing and delivering services that remove barriers faced by disabled people, giving them the opportunity to gain choice and control over their lives.
