Join ACFA
There are three types of membership: Full Accredited, Full Non-Accredited and Affiliate. Costs for all membership plans are £250 per year.
Full Membership (Accredited)
- You are a voluntary and community organisation with charitable aims, a registered charity, CIC or CIO with a focus on providing free social welfare advice, information or support
- You have an Equal Opportunities or Diversity Policy and a Safeguarding Policy
- You agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the ACFA Constitution
- You hold a recognised quality standard (AQS, SQM, Lexcel) or equivalent

- Free job adverts
- Unrestricted access to networking events, members meeting and peer support
- Access to ACFA newsletter, briefings, training and employment bulletins
- The opportunity to submit your own news, update and events to be included in the newsletter
- Listed as an Accredited member on the ACFA website
Full Membership (non-Accredited)

Affiliate Membership
- You are a statutory, private, or educational organisation, a housing association, local authority or similar
- Your organisation must be providing free social welfare advice, information and support as its main activity or as part of the service it provides OR
- Your organisation is a non-statutory, not-for-profit organisation which is in direct partnership with the advice sector offering support and information services and/or actively supporting in the facilitation of advice services i.e. community hub or health centre
- You have an Equal Opportunities or Diversity Policy and a Safeguarding Policy
- You agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the ACFA’s constitution
